Koh Phangan Restuarants
There is an astonishing variety of international restaurants on Koh Phangan as well as plenty of good local Thai food restaurants. On Koh Phangan you will never have any problem finding something to eat. There is lots of street food in the towns and villages, and bunglaow resorts all have their own restaurants.
The Rock
The Rock is situated at the south end of sunrise beach in Haad Rin just above Paradise Bungalows, the original home of the Koh Phangan's infamous full moon parties. There is a fantastic view acroos this popular beach. Enjoy chilled tunes, fruity cocktails, international wines and salads, as well as excellent Thai food.
Swiss Bakery
Natalies Swiss Bakery (Jardin Secret) is located in the centre of Thong Sala. Fresh baked breads, pastries and croissants are available daily. And there is an extenisve cooked foods menu. The Swiss Bakery is closed on Sundays.
Fan Fay
In Thongsala this Thai food restaurant serves great inexpensive, fresh-cooked food to the local population. My favourites are the Pad Thai and fried chille with onions (Phad Prik).
Chinese rice shop
A variet of chopped cooked meats are seved on rice, along with soup and spicy sauces. Quick, cheap and delicious!
Thai Curry Shop
Choose froma selection of pungent curry dishes to be served with rice. Cheap, quick and delicious!
Vantanas
Next to As Coffee shop in Thongsala. Great-tasting English pub grub.
Kled Geow
Garden-ish seating, fish tanks, lots of cats. Quite popular with local people.
DIY BBQ
Cook your own korean BBQ. Lots of fun and tasty too.
Mobile kitchen
There are mobile kitchens, many selling Northern Thai specialities such as Som Tum or papaya salad.
Sticky rice shop
Food from the north of Thaialnd. Spicy chopped salds and BBQ meats. Best eaten with the fingers.
Muslim Reataurants
There is a small muslim population in Ban Kai along Koh Phangan's south coast. Muslim restaurants can also be found in Thongsala and Haad Rin.
